Kavitha Ramaswamy

Kavitha Ramaswamy is a member of the Mercurius Investment Team, where she focuses on Fintech, Edtech and Marketplace investments. She aims to partner with Founders and CXOs to aid growth in generational businesses that positively impact consumer experiences.

Kavitha is also involved in driving Silicon Valley investments for Brand Capital International, the investment arm of Times Group. Additionally, she leads strategic business planning for the company and supports the portfolio team across $41M AUM. Prior to joining the Venture Capital arm of Times Group North America, Kavitha led Finance and Operations for the $400M Sustainable Energy Products Business at Tesla.

Before moving to the US, Kavitha built a healthcare retail business in India, as a part of Sharrp Ventures. She was responsible for the P&L and scaled the business from an idea to a $20M company. She also worked as a Consultant at Deloitte, advising multi-national conglomerates on strategies to improve their operational and financial efficiencies.

Kavitha is a Chartered Accountant (Indian CPA) and holds an MBA from Cornell University.
